Storage technology company LSI Logic Storage Systems has begun offering its Virtual Disk Service/Volume Shadow Copy Service Provider for use with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows Storage Server 2003.
The new release is designed to integrate the company's storage technology with the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows Storage Server 2003 in order to take advantage of the enhanced storage management features that are included. The product will reportedly make it easier for organisations to manage and maintain disks and volumes, backup and restore data using snapshot copy techniques and manage storage arrays on SANs.

The cost of the Virtual Disk Service/Volume Shadow Copy Service Provider was not disclosed.
