<div align="justify"><p><u><b>NETSCAPE</b></u></p><p><b>Clearing the Location Bar</b> </p><p>Most of us occasionally visit Web sites or perform searches that we don't want anyone else to know about. But anyone can see the last dozen URLs you visited, by clicking the little down-arrow on the right side of the window. </p><p>To clear this list, select Edit > Preferences > Navigator > History. Finally, in the History dialog box, click on the Clear Location bar. </p><p><img src="http://www.hashdot.com/prefer.jpg" width="510" height="426" border="0" alt="" /> </p><p><b>Managing cookies</b> </p><p>The History folder isn't the only place where Netscape records your surfing habits. Many Web sites drop cookies onto your system. To clear them, select Edit > Preferences > Privacy and Security > Cookies. Here you can manage the cookies that are placed in your computer when you visit various Web sites. There are different options here, which you can choose according to your browsing preferences.
