How To Renew a Nortonâ„¢ Subscription Using LiveUpdate

To renew your Norton LiveUpdates subscription, complete the following steps.

Open the Norton program on your computer that needs a subscription renewed.

Click the LiveUpdate button at the top part of the screen.

The LiveUpdate window appears.

NOTE: If LiveUpdate is running in Express Mode, you will not need to click Next on the LiveUpdate screen.

Click the Next button if available. A small Synchronizing with Symantec server... dialog box appears briefly and the Symantec Renewal Center (or Subscription Services) window opens. Your Norton subscriptions and expiration dates for that specific computer are listed.

Click Next.

The Renewal Center Web page appears.

Click to select your country and language, and then click Go!

Follow the Web page instructions to purchase a subscription renewal.

Purchase a subscription by one of the following methods:

Credit card — Close the Web page window. The Symantec Renewal Center (LiveUpdate) window that was behind the Web page is seen now. Follow the steps in that window to activate the subscription. Finish running LiveUpdate to get your updates.

Phone — Call the number listed on the Web page to make your payment.

Check — Follow the steps listed on the Web page to send in your payment. Your subscription key will be sent to you when payment is received. Your confirmation e-mail will contain your subscription key.
