Windows XP comes with the facility of creating users of different user level properties.
o create new users, go to Start > Control Panel, click on User Accounts and click on the Create a New Account tab-to modify an existing users account, click on the Change an Account tab. You will need to specify the name of the user, and choose an account type.
Note that you need to be logged in as the administrator to perform these tasks.

Disable the guest account
An unauthorised user could use a guest account, and access and change data. To prevent this from happening, it is advisable to disable Guest account altogether. To turn it off, go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Guest account, and click on 'Turn off Guest Access'.
